The School and Role

Vision For Education are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, autism and other learning difficulties in West Sussex. An ideal candidate for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills. The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have a passion for working with young people and be able to build rapport quickly, supporting young people in making positive choices.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistantwill have:

• Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• An ability to build rapport quickly with students
• Key qualities such as: Patience, Sympathetic, Strong-willed
