Job summary

Selworthy School invites applications for two Teaching Assistant roles across Hazelbrook Campus (Secondary and 6th Form) and Oakhill Campus (Primary). You will support pupils with SEND, assist teachers, and help deliver an ambitious, personalised curriculum.

The Oak Partnership Trust and staff wellbeing are emphasised. The roles are 31.25 hours per week, term-time plus inset days, with an actual annual salary of £18,215 and start date in September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting.
• Ability to adapt to primary, secondary and 6th Form environments.
• Enthusiastic, resilient and able to work well within a team.
• Willingness to start in September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning activities across campuses.
• Assist teachers with behaviour management and supervision.
• Contribute to personalised learning and safeguarding.
• Provide flexible support during term-time and inset days.

• Hazelbrook Campus - Secondary and 6th Form
• Oakhill Campus - Primary

Salary: Actual Annual Salary £18,215

Hours: 31.25 Hours per week, Term term plus Inset days (8:45am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday)
