Job summary

Academics in Sutton Coldfield (B75) is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support one of our trusted schools in the area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Reception classroom and be able to deliver 1-to-1 support to pupils with SEND.

You will collaborate with the SENDCO and teacher to deliver tailored learning plans, with patience and compassion for personal care if required. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• This role requires prior experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure (update service) is required.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in special education preferred.
• Willingness to complete training when needed.

Responsibilities
