Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting for a purpose-driven Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Stockport, Greater Manchester. The role involves supporting pupils, including those with SEND, on a 1:1 basis and collaborating with teachers to adapt lessons to individual needs.

You will be part of a supportive school community focused on inclusion, with opportunities to deliver catch-up sessions and contribute to a loving academic environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
• Must have a passion for education.
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.

• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate.
