JOB TITLE – SEN Teaching Assistant

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant for a role in Staines, TW19.

The school is a popular mainstream primary school with a supportive senior leadership team. It is going from strength to strength and provides training to all staff.

Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Staines, TW19
• Type of work: SEN TA
• Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
• Start date: February 2025
• Duration: Until end of the academic year, July 2025 (possibly ongoing)
• Contract type: Temporary
• Minimum pay: £90 per day
• Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of Key Stage 1 or 2 experience in the UK
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one
• Two professional child-related references covering the last two years
