Job summary

Academics in Slough is seeking a compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming school community. The role is full time with a September start, 8:30am–4pm, and salary will be determined by qualifications and experience.

You will support children with SEN in both group and 1:1 settings, assist the class teacher with learning programs, and help create an inclusive environment where pupils can thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• A caring and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children with SEN.
• Previous experience in a school or similar setting is preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents.
