Job Description:
ü Providing1:1 supportfor a pupil with SEN, ensuring theirindividual learning plan (ILP)is followed
ü Supporting the pupil’sacademic, social, and emotional developmentin and out of the classroom
ü Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implementtargeted interventions
ü Using a range ofdifferentiated strategiesandvisual supportsto aid understanding and engagement
ü Promotingpositive behaviourand helping the pupil developindependence and self-regulation skills
The Ideal Candidate Will:
ü Have experience working with children withSEND, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, or Speech and Language Needs
ü Bepatient, empathetic, and able to buildtrusting relationshipswith pupils
ü Demonstrate strongcommunication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with staff and families
ü Be confident usinginclusive strategiesandassistive technologyto support learning
ü Hold or be willing to obtain anenhanced DBS checkand complete relevantsafeguarding training
