Job summary

Teaching Personnel is looking for a PMLD & SLD Teaching Assistant to support children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties in Meldreth. This rewarding role involves working closely with children to help them access learning and promote independence.

Time: Full-Time | ASAP Start
Pay: £125+ per day

We are looking for a PMLD & SLD Teaching Assistant to join a friendly SEN provision in Meldreth, Hertfordshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a specialist setting.

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Help children access learning through fun and engaging activities.
• Assist with personal care and promote independence.
• Use communication tools such as Makaton and visual aids.
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to help every child reach their potential.

• Has experience working with children or adults with additional needs (preferred but not essential).
