Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a mainstream school in Kidderminster to support pupils, including those with Autism, with an immediate start. The role involves classroom and individual support, working closely with teachers and adapting approaches to meet learning needs.

You will help pupils access learning in an inclusive environment, with opportunities for longer-term positions. Salary is £95–£125 per day via PAYE, with market-leading pay rates and ongoing CPD

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide classroom and individual support, work closely with teaching staff and adapt their approach to meet the needs of pupils with Autism.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an education setting
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD
• Experience working within a mainstream school is desirable
• The ability to adapt support to meet individual learning needs
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
