Job summary

Choice Teachers are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Fulham primary school’s support team. You will provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support, help pupils access learning, and work closely with the SEND team to implement individual strategies.

The role requires patience, adaptability, and strong communication to support pupils with diverse needs and backgrounds. Experience in primary settings is advantageous, and full-time school-based work is offered.

Qualifications

• Have experience supporting children or young people (in a school setting)
• Ideally have previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, SEND TA, Learning Support Assistant or 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs
• Be patient, calm and adaptable
• Be confident working 1:1 and with small groups
• Have good communication and relationship-building skills
• Be reliable and committed
• Be able to follow individual support plans and teacher guidance
• Experience within a primary school would be advantageous

Choice Teachers are currently working with a primary school in Fulham who are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant / SEND Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning and participate fully in school life.

The school is looking for somebody who is patient, proactive and confident supporting children with a range of additional needs.
