We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in West Drayton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners and work as part of a supportive team committed to inclusive education.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and personalised learning strategies.
  • Encourage independence, boost confidence, and celebrate every milestone with your students.
  • Adapt learning activities to ensure accessibility and engagement.
  • Promote emotional well-being and create a safe, supportive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Passionate about inclusive education and pupil progress.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant training (desirable).
