SEN Teaching Assistant | Paid Trial | East London | September 2025

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Start: September 2025

Contract: Full time

Interview: Paid Trial

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Join our dynamic team in East London. As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. You will be supporting a year 7 child with moderate Autism, whereby you will be supporting her academically and mentally.

SEN Teaching Assistant Duties:

  • Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to meet the student's needs.
  • Implementing strategies to support the student's learning and social development.
  • Facilitating communication between the student and their peers.
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to build the student's confidence.
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to maximize the student's educational experience.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
