Job summary

CER Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 7 pupil in a Liverpool secondary school. This full-time role offers daily rate £92.59–£110 and an immediate start, with full training and DBS support.

You will work 1:1, assist learning and wellbeing, collaborate with teachers and the SEND team, and help create an inclusive classroom where every pupil can thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Caring, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Teaching Assistant, care, youth work or relevant transferable experience.

Responsibilities
