Job description

Are you a nurturing and friendly SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a part-time opportunity?

We are actively seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the staff team at one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Leeds (LS15). You will provide ongoing learning support and intervention for pupils with a range of SEN and behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. The part-time role is available with immediate start and will initially be on a temporary basis until December 2025, with the potential of extension depending on funding. The friendly and forward-thinking school places children at the heart of everything they do, offering a committed team that is focused on meeting the educational needs of children with SEN or disabilities. You will work in partnership to ensure they are able to access all aspects of school life in order to achieve their full potential. You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.

We are seeking a SEN TA with:
  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification or equivalent.
  • A kind, caring and consistent approach.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
