Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a caring and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream school in Ramsey. You’ll provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs, helping them access learning and feel happy and included.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you’ll help the pupil reach EHCP targets, support emotional regulation and build confidence, independence and social skills throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Patience, calm and reliable with a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Experience with SEN, including ASD or ADHD, would be an advantage.

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you’re patient, calm, reliable and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

Previous experience with SEN, including ASD or ADHD, would be an advantage. This could be from a school, care or other child-focused setting.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who can build a positive relationship with a child and provide the consistent support they need to thrive.

What you’ll receive

• £93–£105 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
