An exciting opportunity has arisen for teaching assistants to join a primary autistic school. Students between 4 and 11 years old with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Some of the students may also have additional sensory or physical impairments or challenging behaviour.
As a Teaching Assistant at this autistic primary school, you will be responsible for providing learning support to individuals and groups while supporting teaching staff. You will be using a mix of resources to inspire pupils' understanding, focusing on early communication, interaction, and cognitive skills that are important for development and learning.
They are looking for early years experience or a passion to work with children on the autistic spectrum. Experience is not necessary.

Salary: £90-£95 per day
Contract: Long-term contract for 1 year
