Job description

SEN Primary & Secondary School catering for students with SEMH

Location: Leatherhead

Hours: 8.30am to 3.45pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Salary: 80 - 100 per day, depending on experience

Role: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

  • Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition
  • Record observations of pupils during the school day to assist with record-keeping
  • Communicate knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
  • Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours aligned with the role's expectations
  • Promote inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
  • Provide teaching and learning support, including the use of appropriate technical resources
  • Support and teach students with SEN and additional needs
  • Collaborate with other SEN Teaching Assistants to support students effectively
