Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking caring, enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants for a school in Stubbington, PAID from £85.50 per day, with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The school supports pupils aged 11-16 with complex needs including autism and language disorders.

Starting September 2026, roles can be temporary or permanent in Gosport, Hampshire. DBS update service or willingness to obtain one is required along with two professional references and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous TA experience desirable.
• Passion for working with children with ASD and complex needs.
• Proactive, positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (registered with the online update service) or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional child‑related references.

The school provides specialist education and support for pupils aged 11‑16 with complex learning difficulties and associated needs, including autism, speech and language disorders, and complex needs.
