Academics are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a SEMH school in Canterbury from September. You will support pupils with SEMH needs, work 1:1 and in small groups, and help manage behaviour in a safe, structured learning environment.
The ideal candidate has experience with SEMH/SEN or challenging behaviour, is patient and resilient, and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff. DBS Update Service is required or obtainable via Academics.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, manage their behaviour and build positive relationships within a supportive school environment.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
