Job summary

Emerald Teaching LTD in Bury is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs in partner schools. You will work one-to-one or in small groups, helping pupils access lessons and grow confidence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, safeguarding awareness, and building positive relationships with students, parents, and external professionals to implement tailored learning plans. Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 TA are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Proactive, patient, and empathetic attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and safeguarding practices.

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Emerald Teaching are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with our partner schools in Bury.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
