SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist ASD Provision – Bromley
Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support students with autism? A specialist ASD provision inBromley is seeking a committed individual to provide tailored support to children with a range of learning and communication needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a structured and nurturing learning environment.

Role Overview:
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location:Bromley
  • Interview Date: Immediate
  • Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
  • Salary: £103 - £115 per day (Dependent on experience)

About You:
  • Has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated learning needs.
  • Is confident in supporting students with communication challenges, sensory needs, and behaviour management.
  • Can provide one-to-one and small group interventions to enhance learning and social development.
  • Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Has a proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students in a specialist setting.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development within a structured ASD provision.
  • Implement tailored learning strategies, including visual aids, sensory techniques, and alternative communication methods.
  • Assist in managing behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised support plans.
  • Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
