Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Luton
Rate: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Term time only

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have experience in SEN education or care and want to make a real difference this September?
We're working with a fantastic SEN school in Luton that's looking for a dedicated and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in the new academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a variety of additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN - in education, care or similar
* A calm, confident presence with strong behaviour management skills
* A genuine understanding of different SEN profiles, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and more
* A relevant qualification such as CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or higher in Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
* A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a committed team

What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups to access learning
* Working alongside teachers and therapists to meet pupils' individual needs
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating learning environment
* Encouraging independence and emotional development
* Managing behaviour in a positive, consistent way
