Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN in a welcoming Peterborough school. You'll work closely with teachers and the SENCO to tailor learning activities, promote inclusion and help pupils achieve individual goals.

Whether you're an experienced SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, graduate, or have prior experience supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Positive, caring and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for inclusive education
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Desirable: previous school-based SEN experience
• Desirable: Autism (ASC), ADHD or speech and language support
• Desirable: Behaviour management experience
• Desirable: Childcare or Education qualifications
• Desirable: Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

About the Role

Essential Requirements
