The school is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start on September 18th, 2023, ideally on a full-time basis. Hours are from am to pm, term time only.

This is a highly rewarding role. The school seeks individuals who are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, approachable, positive, and flexible. You must be able to communicate with pupils in a manner that encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.

Your responsibilities will include supporting pupils across various age and ability ranges, primarily on a 1:1 basis in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to mentor students and provide small group interventions.

Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided along with a supportive team of staff. A team player with patience, understanding, and a willingness to develop is required.

This role is ideal for graduates and aspiring teachers seeking to gain more experience before applying for teacher training. Experienced Teaching Assistants or professionals considering a career change are also encouraged to apply.
