Job summary

Smile Education is looking for passionate SEN Teachers to work across Birmingham in specialist schools and inclusive settings. This full-time role involves planning and delivering tailored lessons to children with a range of additional needs. Ideal candidates will have Qualified Teacher Status and experience in SEN education.

Competitive daily pay rates between £140 - £220 depend on experience. Supportive consultant assistance is provided throughout your placement.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
  • SEN teaching experience preferred.
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Complex Needs and other additional needs.
  • Create safe, nurturing and structured learning environments.
  • Develop personalised learning plans and contribute to EHCP reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff and external agencies.

The Role:

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).

  • Ability to provide references covering the last two years.
