Job summary

Ingfield Manor School, part of Salutem Care and Education, is seeking a dedicated teacher for fixed-term maternity cover to deliver high-quality teaching within our specialist education team. You will plan engaging lessons, support students with additional needs, and contribute to annual reviews and safeguarding practices.

The role requires a passion for SEND, strong communication, and a collaborative approach in a transdisciplinary environment. The position runs for 12 months during term time.

Qualifications

• QTS required and commitment to ongoing professional learning.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching to secondary-aged students, preferably in SEND.
• Evidence of CPD and active engagement in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the school curriculum and Conductive Education approach.
• Assess, monitor and report student progress; lead annual reviews and contribute to multi-agency meetings.
• Collaborate within a transdisciplinary team to support students and families.
