Job summary

Renaissance Education is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist therapeutic school. You will plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each pupil's needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop learning plans, contribute to EHCP outcomes and cultivate a safe, nurturing environment where pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons adapted to each pupil's needs.
• Work closely with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, pastoral staff, SENCOs and families to develop personalised learning plans.
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, you'll create engaging, personalised learning experiences that inspire confidence, curiosity and achievement. You'll plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are carefully adapted to meet each pupil's individual needs, ensuring every child can access the curriculum and celebrate success at their own pace.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work closely with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, pastoral staff, SENCOs and families to develop personalised learning plans, contribute to EHCP outcomes and create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
