We are looking for a dedicated, caring and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team.
You will plan and deliver high-quality, personalised teaching and learning for pupils with a range of complex needs. You will work closely with the SEN team, support staff and families to help pupils make progress, develop independence and achieve their individual potential.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with teaching experience.
Experience working with children with SEND is desirable, but not essential.
A good understanding of the individual needs of pupils with complex SEND.
Ability to adapt teaching methods, resources and activities to meet individual learning needs.
Experience or willingness to use visual supports and differentiated approaches.
Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
A calm, patient and positive approach when supporting pupils.
A commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
A willingness to work collaboratively with the wider SEN team and follow individual EHCP outcomes and support plans.
Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
