We’re looking for an inspiring and caring teacher to join our network of SEND schools across Middlesbrough. If you’re someone who thrives on helping children with special needs overcome challenges and achieve their best, we want to hear from you!

Why join us?

You’ll work in dynamic, supportive classrooms where your skills will directly help children with a wide range of needs and backgrounds. This is more than just a teaching role - it's an opportunity to make a real difference every single day.

Your role as a SEND Teacher:
  • Inspiring & Personalised Teaching:You’ll work across a variety of classrooms in the heart of Middlesbrough, tailoring your teaching to support individual students with SEND. With the help of experienced SEN teaching assistants, you’ll deliver personalised interventions that help children reach their targets and achieve the goals in their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Creating Positive Learning Environments:You’ll manage classroom behaviour with care and understanding, following the school’s behaviour management strategies to create a calm and productive environment where every child can learn and thrive.
  • Safeguarding & Well-Being:You’ll be dedicated to the safety and well-being of your students, following the school’s safeguarding procedures and ensuring that every child is supported and protected.
  • Engaging & Hands-On Learning:You’ll guide children to explore and enjoy the curriculum through a wide variety of learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom, sparking their curiosity and passion for learning.
The ideal candidate:
  • You are passionate about helping children with SEND and believe every child deserves the chance to succeed.
  • You hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience working with SEND students.
  • You’re patient, empathetic, and committed to providing the best possible support for children, regardless of their individual needs.
  • You’re confident in adapting your teaching style to support the diverse needs of each child in your care.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK.
What we offer:
  • Competitive Pay:We offer pay rates that reflect your experience and the important role you play in supporting children with SEND.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD):We believe in supporting your career growth with ongoing training to help you develop your skills and expertise.
  • £50 Referral Bonus:If you know a teacher who would be a great fit, refer them to us and earn £50 as a thank you!
  • Dedicated Support:Our team of experienced consultants is here to guide you through every step of your journey, providing support whenever you need it.
Additional information:
  • This is a temporary role, with the potential for permanent placement depending on your performance and the needs of the schools.
  • All pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
  • Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
