Newbury Manor School is seeking an outstanding Teacher to join our team on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and committed Teacher to enhance the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will teach and support young people with autism, emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and other complex needs. Applicants should be qualified Teachers (QTS) or experienced Unqualified Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in line with the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document
• Uphold professional standards and the GTC code of conduct
• Plan, prepare, assess, and report on student progress tailored to individual needs
• Use appropriate SEN teaching strategies
• Provide accurate reports to stakeholders
• Maintain records of assessments and progress
• Promote the school's positive ethos and values
• Collaborate with key workers and therapeutic teams to follow care plans
• Ensure safeguarding and professional practice standards
