Job summary

Polaris Education – Becker School in Batley is seeking a SEN Teacher on a full-time, term-time-only contract. The role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned to the national curriculum, addressing ASC and SEMH needs, and support the wider team to foster positive behaviour and inclusive learning. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• QTS achieved and eligible to teach in the UK.
• Experience teaching KS1/KS2 preferred.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviours.
• Report on pupils' progress and liaise with staff to meet needs.
