Job summary

Paragon Education in Solihull is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher for a long-term position in a specialist school. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with ASC, MLD and SLD, supporting their confidence and learning while promoting SEMH awareness.

You'll develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs), monitor pupil progress, and collaborate with support staff, parents and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes in a safe, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering lessons for pupils with SEND.
• Ability to plan and adapt instruction to diverse needs.
• Strong collaboration with colleagues, parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Develop and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster positive relationships to support pupil confidence and independence.
• Work with support staff, parents, and external services to ensure optimal pupil support.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
