Position: Full-Time SEN Teacher
Location: Croydon, London
Start Date: ASAP or September 2024
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (MPS/UPS + SEN allowance)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic special educational needs school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs, including autism (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Work with small classes or 1:1, ensuring all pupils make progress.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support holistic development.
Implement EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) and track pupil progress.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome).
Experience working with SEN pupils (ASD, PMLD, SEMH, or SLD preferred).
Strong understanding of SEND strategies and adaptive teaching methods.
Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Ongoing CPD and specialist SEN training.
Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment.
Competitive salary with SEN allowance.
