The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an SEN specialist teacher for a full-time, long-term assignment with the potential for a permanent position.

The Person

We are seeking a qualified teacher with experience and passion for Special Educational Needs to take full responsibility for a primary class with diverse needs, alongside a team of three teaching assistants. Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) is essential, along with reliability and full commitment. The successful candidate will need to hold or apply for an enhanced DBS registered on the update service. Experience in Moving and Handling would be beneficial but can be provided if needed. We welcome applications from teachers with all levels of experience.

The School

This friendly and supportive school on the outskirts of York caters to children aged 2-11 with various special educational needs and disabilities. Free on-site parking is available.
