Are you a passionate teacher looking for more than just a classroom? At Kestrel House School, you'll have the opportunity to transform the lives of autistic students through highly personalised teaching, creativity, and genuine relationship-based practice. As our school continues to grow across both our Primary and Secondary provisions, we're looking for talented teachers who want to be part of an ambitious, supportive team where every student's progress is celebrated. This is more than a teaching role. It's an opportunity to help students build confidence, communication skills, independence, and lifelong success in an environment where they are truly understood. Whether your experience is in mainstream or specialist education, if you're committed to inclusive practice and making a lasting difference, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing
You'll teach students with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties, creating engaging, personalised lessons that build independence, resilience, and a love of learning. You'll be supported to innovate and bring ideas to life as part of a multidisciplinary team, working with specialists, therapists, and families to deliver a holistic education where wellbeing, communication, and social development are as important as academic progress. At Outcomes First Schools, we provide specialist education for learners who need a deeper level of understanding, expertise and support than mainstream education can typically offer. We support students with a wide range of complex, co-occurring and neurodivergent needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and communication needs, dyslexia and experiences of trauma or adversity. We are proud to be a part of OFG Education who in 2025 were officially certified as a 'Great Place to Work' for the sixth year running.
We place students and vulnerable young adults at the heart of everything we do, so every day brings the satisfaction of making a real difference. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and young people. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.
