Job summary

Vale of Evesham School is seeking a maternity cover SEN teacher to educate pupils with complex learning needs aged 4 to 18. The role includes leading teaching assistants and promoting a safe, high-quality learning environment.

You will collaborate with parents, other schools and agencies to share best practices and ensure a supportive curriculum aligned with the school ethos. The position requires experience with SEN in either special or mainstream settings, a flexible and creative approach, and

Job description

This maternity cover SEN teacher post sits at Vale of Evesham School, an all-age special school for pupils aged 4 to 18. The core of the work is teaching children with complex learning needs and leading a team of teaching assistants in the classroom. The school is a specialist for cognition and learning, rated Good by Ofsted in 2023, and it works closely with families and local schools. Visa sponsorship is not available, and the post starts as soon as possible or in January 2026.
