Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Teachers for a specialist further education provision for students aged 16-19 with learning difficulties. Teaching Personnel are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Teachers to join a specialist further education provision for students aged 16-19 with Moderate, Severe, and Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
We have a range of opportunities available including cover supply, day-to-day, temp-to-perm, and permanent roles, providing flexibility to suit your career goals.
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, personalised teaching and learning that supports students' academic progress and personal development.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Designing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Assessing and tracking student progress.
Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and life skills.
Working closely with support staff, families, and external agencies.
This specialist further education setting provides outstanding education and support for young people with Moderate, Severe, and Complex Learning Difficulties. The provision is recognised for its nurturing and inclusive environment, designed to help students thrive academically and socially.
We are seeking individuals who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs, particularly SEMH, ASD, or complex learning difficulties.
Are passionate about personalised, inclusive education.
Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Are patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
