Smart Teachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established specialist school in Uxbridge that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their Key Stage 3 team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and a range of additional needs, including Autism, speech and language difficulties, and associated social, emotional and communication needs. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Key Stage 3 class of pupils with lower moderate learning difficulties, planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that promote independence, confidence and academic progress. You will work closely with a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and therapists to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to achieve their potential.
This role would suit a qualified teacher with experience in SEND, or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education who has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
