Job summary

Teach Plus is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher for a full-time role in Hounslow, starting ASAP. You will support pupils with additional learning needs, deliver engaging differentiated lessons and foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.

The school is a specialist setting focused on inclusion and wellbeing, with strong collaboration between staff, families and external professionals. QTS or equivalent, enhanced DBS Update Service and right to work in the UK are required; prior SEN

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with special educational needs and individual learning requirements.
• Adapt teaching strategies, resources and activities to meet a range of abilities, communication styles and developmental needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive and structured classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, using this information to inform planning and support individual learning targets.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, parents and other professionals to provide consistent and effective pupil support.
• Promote pupils' social, emotional and academic development through personalised teaching approaches and a nurturing learning environment.
