Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to a variety of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
  • Create structured and engaging learning experiences that promote academic, emotional, and social development.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Use assessment data to monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches as needed.
  • Foster a classroom culture of respect, safety, and inclusivity.
  • Encourage independence and confidence in every pupil through a supportive teaching approach.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in SEN or a specialist setting.
