My client, a dedicated SEN school, is looking for an inspiring SEN Teacher to lead a class of incredible young learners. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment where students can thrive, develop independence, and reach their full potential. If you’re committed to transforming education for children with SEND, this is the perfect opportunity for you! This role is looking to start after the Easter half-term on a full-time basis, working until the end of the academic year with the potential for the role to turn permanent for next September!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching and supporting children with special educational needs in a structured and engaging way.
  • Developing and delivering individual learning plans to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Creating and maintaining an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
  • Managing and guiding a team of teaching assistants to enhance student support.
  • Working closely with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure student progress.
  • Writing and reviewing EHCP reports and tracking pupil achievement.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Skilled in differentiating lessons for diverse learning needs.
  • Confident in behaviour management and positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Passionate about empowering children with SEND to achieve independence.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and parents.
