Academic Appointments - Special Educational Needs Teacher

Academic Appointments is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teacher to work in a Sheffield school catering to children aged 3 to 11 with profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, complex medical needs, and autism.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding and experience in working with students with Special Education Needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. They should be enthusiastic and committed to making a positive impact on these children's lives and education, providing opportunities for enriched learning, employment, and independence.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with pupils with a range of additional needs.
2. Hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification.
3. Team Teach qualification is advantageous but not essential.
4. Two satisfactory references.
5. A valid DBS certificate subscribed to the update service or willingness to obtain one.
