Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated teacher for a full-time role supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The position involves planning engaging science lessons and nurturing a supportive classroom environment. Candidates must possess a recognised teaching qualification, a strong commitment to safeguarding, and experience working with SEN students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver clear, high-quality science lessons that support pupils in making good or outstanding progress
• Tailor teaching to meet the individual SEN needs of pupils
• Assess pupil work and progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
• Report on pupil progress in line with school policies
• Manage behaviour positively and consistently following school policy
• Participate in school events as required
• Work across multiple school sites and outreach venues, including transporting pupils in your own vehicle when necessary

• Inspire confidence and build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Maintain confidentiality and report any concerns using appropriate procedures
• GCSE English and Maths grade C or equivalent
• Recognised Teaching Qualification
• Competent use of ICT for teaching and assessment
• Trustworthy, dependable, and patient
• Evidence of recent successful science teaching at class or group level
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• High levels of tolerance and empathy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
