Supply SEN Teachers - Northamptonshire

Aspire People are seeking passionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teachers to work across a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools and Alternative Provision settings in Northamptonshire. We are looking for qualified teachers with a strong understanding of inclusive education who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and MLD/SLD.

This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who thrive in a flexible role, enjoy variety in their work, and are committed to making a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils with diverse SEN needs
  2. Plan and adapt lessons to accommodate individual learning needs and EHCP targets
  3. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  4. Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals
  5. Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
  6. Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies
  7. Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in SEN settings or with students with special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and resilient attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
