With rising student numbers, the school is now looking to appoint a qualified Teacher to join their team in September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or early-career teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and wants to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing, small-class environment. The school places a strong emphasis on social, emotional and academic development - helping students build confidence and independence for adulthood.

About The Role:

As a SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of your students. You’ll be confident teaching across subjects at KS3 and KS4, with support from a collaborative team and skilled teaching assistants. In addition to academic progress, you will help students develop essential life and social skills, working closely with EHCPs and multi-agency teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - applications from ECTs are welcomed
  • Experience or interest in working with pupils with ASD, SEMH and additional learning needs
  • A creative, empathetic approach to teaching and classroom management
  • Confidence in teaching across a range of secondary curriculum subjects
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to holistic education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using school systems and contributing to reports
  • Support pupils’ personal development and social skills alongside academic outcomes
  • Work closely with families, therapists and external agencies
  • Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement plans
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing in every aspect of school life

Why This Role?

  • Join a school that places student wellbeing and individual development at its core
  • Work in a low-stress, high-support environment with small class sizes
  • Be part of a dedicated, collaborative team with clear values and shared vision
  • Ongoing professional development and progression opportunities
  • A truly rewarding role where you’ll see the tangible impact of your work
