Are you a resilient and dedicated educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs?
Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Tutors to deliver tailored English sessions, with a focus on spelling, to pupils requiring additional support. This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity offering hourly rates of £25–£30, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions
Support students with diverse SEN needs, helping them develop confidence in spelling and literacy
Track and report on pupil progress, adapting your approach as needed
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Strong subject knowledge in English, particularly spelling and literacy development
A calm, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
The ability to motivate and inspire learners with additional needs
Whether you are a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or a teaching assistant with relevant SEN experience, we would love to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
