Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher for KS1 in Stoke Newington, North London. You will work in a specialist setting with children who have severe and complex needs, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.

The role requires QTS, experience with ASD/SLD, and a patient, nurturing approach. DBS Update Service preferred. Start ASAP – Until Christmas with full-time, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with pupils with severe and complex SEN.
• Strong understanding of autism (ASD), SLD and communication needs.
• Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Confidence in supporting challenging behaviours.
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities
