Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teacher to work within an SEN environment within the Bridgend area

We are looking for someone to project positivity and enthusiasm for the role to ensure the children are engaged and provided a ‘can-do’ approach to vary their learning. We require a dedicated Teacher with relevant experience to be able to showcase their skills and bring a new lease of life to the job role. As an SEN Teacher is not a common qualification within Wales, we are also looking for a Secondary or Primary trained Teacher with an interest in SEN to take on training on the job.

We welcome applicants who:

  • Have gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK; or equivalent
  • Are able to effectively utilise the Outdoor Classroom;
  • Can confidently plan and delegate a daily routine for support staff within the classroom;
  • Are a Qualified Teacher (or NQT)
  • Seek a long-term position teaching a full timetable with the relevant time set aside for Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA).
  • Registered with the education workforce council (EWC) or willing to register

A confident candidate with aspirations to provide children with a personal approach to learning and go up and beyond in their role would be ideal. However, if you are looking for a new challenge within an Specialist School and feel relevant experience, as advised above, would go hand in hand with this role, then please do get in touch.

What can you expect from Teaching Personnel?

  • A dedicated personal consultant to support you throughout your career with TP;
  • Excellent pay rates (Minimum of 166.32 per day)
  • Long-term roles with a set timetable;
  • Fully compliant with the Agency Workers Regulation (AWR);
  • Network of branches across the UK;
