Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant / SEN Trainee Teacher in Dorking. This permanent role offers a supportive and inviting setting with fully funded training opportunities. You will provide high-quality educational activities and support for pupils with autism.

The position involves starting as a 1:1 TA and progressing to teaching responsibilities over 1–2 years. The role operates full-time, from Monday to Friday, and includes a £1,000 welcome bonus along with various team-building activities.

Qualifications

• Creative and resilient individual committed to supporting learners with SEN.
• Experience working or volunteering with children or young adults is desirable.
• GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities.
• Teach a broad and balanced curriculum to small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Start as a 1:1 TA and progress to full teaching duties over 1–2 years.
