Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a flexible Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Chelmsford and Essex. Work across primary, secondary, and early years settings with the freedom to choose days that fit your life.

You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers with lessons, and help maintain calm, structure and positive classroom environments. This role offers variety and potential pathways into longer-term roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience ideal but not essential)
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support welcome
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
